Hello everyone. As you know Hannah tests confirms she does not have acid reflux. The test showed that she did have epiosdes on reflux while eating and weakly acid reflux afterwards. Generally speaking, she does not have any major issues with acid reflux. Now I did take her to the speech therapist to see if her cough was a habitual cough. She said she does not think so. She really believes her vagus nerve is hypersenstive. So now Hannah will be seeing a Neurologist. So far Hannah's cough is not...
Hi, I'm new to this site. Our baby is 39 weeks & has been in the NICU for the past 7 weeks. Doctors have been pushing a Nissen Fundoplication & G tube for fear of aspirations and ultimately oral aversion and failure to thrive. She continues to have bradys and desats every day while sleeping and especially while starting to nipple even while she's on the protonics. Swallow study shows severe reflux/Ph Probe was normal and emptying study was a bit slow/abnormal. Aside from gavaging her...

Okay, here are the latest results from her impedence probe done on February 5, 2010. Esophegal ph results were 6.3 and her gastric ph results were 1.2. Now the test showed that Hannah had espoides of reflux during eating, however, the results basically shows that she has no reflux issues and that her fundo is working. Next, her swallowing test proves to be normal. She does not have asthma. Her asthma doctor has ruled that not to be a cause for her coughing. She does have allergies to dust mites...
It has been confirmed. Hannah has NO REFLUX ISSUES. The test showed that she has a small amount of reflux during eating. Other than that NO REFLUX. I love Hannah's GI doctor. He is really taking my concerns about her chronic coughing seriously. Now, it may be Vocal Cord Dsyfunction. So she will be seeing a Speech Theraprist next week. It has been confirmed that Hannah does not have Asthama. However, she do have allegries to dust mites only. She has been on the allergy shot since July 2009. She...
