The yellow jammies and the jammies pictured with them are not finished yet, but should be before the day is out! The others are all done!! The blankets are for a friend who is having a baby and I made matching burp cloths for her, because she's one of those moms who will appreciate being able to coordinate her blankets and burp cloths when she is out in public! Enjoy! He also wouldn't sleep in his new jammies because they didn't have a matching shirt...So I'm off to Old Navy today...
I like the way it turned out overall, but glad I did a test bag since there are some things I would change. Here is the front. A little plain, I wish I had thought to put some applique on it. The strap was planned to be adjustable but I did not buy enough length of strap. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/Tootie44/bag02-26-10002.jpg Back zip pocket and side velcro pocket http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/Tootie44/bag02-26-10003.jpg Inside, the elastic for the pockets...
Okay, so I'm not actually sewing right now, nor have I done a lot of sewing... But tonight, after the kids are both sleeping peacefully, I am going to go on a sewing frenzy! I have a baby blanket to finish (along with matching burp cloths), an obscene number of pajama pants to make, and two small pillows to make up for the Brother Bear! I also have two jean jumpers to make for Esther Rose, but those will probably have to wait until I have more than my 2 hours of alotted time to...
I am determined to stay on top of things this time!! So far I have scrapped January and 1/2 of February :) I went to Archivers last night for a scrap mania night~ 6 blissful hours of scrapping, hanging out and chatting :)

I was hoping to have them made (colorful) then girls can decorate with sparkely (quick dry) while waiting for others to arrive. But maybe not $5.99 each plus shipping. Thanks!
I want to organize my photos and was wondering about digital scrapbooking..it seems like it may be faster for me to get caught up but also exensive to have the large sheets printed. Any thoughts/suggestions?
I'm loving my pottery class, and i'm finding out just how long you can wrap and keep on working with the clay .... infact how long and the proceses that go into it all. So here are a couple of peices of work in progress ... still lots of finishing off to do and glazing etc ...
Anyone make them?? I always thought they were going to be hard to make and hadn't tried them.. until a couple weeks ago a friend taught me how to make them~ and they are SO easy and SO cute!!!!
I brought both kids up to the sewing room and got some good work done on my bag today! I think it's going to be really cute, especially since this is just a test bag made from fabric I had sitting around! I just need to go pick up a zipper before I can do much more, and I want to wait until I get the strap I ordered for the bag so I can match the zipper to the strap. I hope it comes soon!
I finally finished Adilyn's 'First Year' Scrapbook last night!!!!! Now each of my kids have their own scrapbook of their first year!!! Aside from those, we only have one 'family scrapbook' and it's from late 2003-early 2004. I decided that I will NOT be able to catch-up, and I'm going to start from current pcitures. So I went to Walmart yesterday and printed some prints from the last 3 or so weeks. I scrapped 5 pages today and it felt SOOOO good!!! It's amazing what a...
Has anyone made these? I am so not crafty especially with sewing. Kristin's new bed is a hospital bed with crib type sides. I want to make a bumper for each side. I bought an extra quilt when we got her bedding for this purpose. Would you basically just wrap it around a peice of foam and sew it up? Any ideas? Thanks!
Made some bows last night and tonight :) My first time making korkers...gotta make a few more and get it looking better :)
Do I remember you saying that you put some sort of grippy stuff on the clip to hold onto the baby hair better? What is it that you use?
I just got a class catalog from a local arts center. There are too many classes that I want to take!!! :redheart Now if I only had the money, the time, and a babysitter!!! :think_dizzy:
Anyone made anything like this?? I want to for Mother's Day, end of the year teacher gifts etc.
