meeting new friends.. I dont have many in real life, im kind of antisocial so this gives me the oportunity to step out of my comfort zone. plus moms here have lots of good advice.. I LOVE YA..

Child's Background

EMMA was born with a emanuel syndrome. she was in the nicu for 5 weeks. she had a cleft palate, pierre rubin sequence, tongue tied. microtia 1 ear, hip dysplacia.. she had 2 craniel helmets to sculpt her beautiful head.. her surgeries include a malrotation and gtube placement at a month old. cleft repair and un tongue tied at 1 year.. at 19 months an ear tube.. emma is non verbal, you really cant even hear her cry.. so she is not left alone. she did not eat anything until about 18 months old. now shes up to 1 jar aday. she recently didnt pass speech. shes in ot, pt, feeding therapy, and goes for 3 hours a week to a special needs school for lil ones..she cant walk talk or crawl.. but put her in a gait trainer and she is off.. her smile could lite a room..

nicholas.. is almost 9 going on 16.. nicholas was diagnosed at an early age as adhd.. he started in special ed classes at 3 he has always been behind in walking talking eating etc.. at 2 he had hernia surgery.. hes recently got a new great doct. who thinks he might have asbergers.. at one minute he can be sweet as pie, then the next goes off the charts.. were hoping to get some answers real soon.. he is the pickiest eater i've ever seen.. you can give the kid a jellie bean and regret it 10 min later.. his favorite thing to do is run back and forth in the living room.. he is the best big brother a lil girl could ask for.. oh he knocked his 4 front teeth out 4 years ago, they just now came through.. wooo hooo
