Announcing P2P's Annual Fundraiser

Parent-2-Parent has been offering love, friendship and support for eight years. We are asking our members to help contribute so that P2P can continue to grow and offer it's members the support, friendship and understanding that our members deserve. Unfortuantely, web sites need money to continue to run, that is why we need your help.

All donations help, and as an added thank you we have come up with a special thank-you to members who can make a donation to the site durring this special annual fundraiser. All items are available while supplies last!

With a donation of $25 you will receive, as a token of our gratitude, a Parent-2-Parent keychain. Hurry! While supplies last!

With a donation of $100 you will receive, as a token of our gratitude, a Parent-2-Parent keychain and a Water Bottle with Parent-2-Parent's logo.

Along with your donations, you will receive our P2P supporter titles and the larger avatar (if you have not received them already).

Our financial goal for this year is about $1000 so that we can purchase anti--virus and anti-spam software which for Symantic would be about $683 for the first year, with a $375.50 renewal fee per year. We also want to purchase a good chat room for our members. Together these purchases would take a significant portion of the $1000, leaving a small amount for additional "things" as well as times when we do little things for our members. It is our belief that purchasing a good anti-virus/anti-spam software is imperative for ensuring that Parent-2-Parent continues to run, as we have been lucky so far, but at any given time we could find ourselves infected with a computer virus, or hacked. We hate to ask for donations, but we are not in a position to provide the funds for the server alone, and we are just not brining in the advertising funds needed.

One of the ways we're reaching out to ourmembers is through Avatars

We no longer offer large-size avatars (150 pixels X 200 pixels) for free, instead will be offering freeAvatars at a smaller size: 75 pixels X 100 pixels.

Full-Size Avatars will be able to be purchased for at a one-time cost of $5.00, as well as available to anyone who donates that amount or more to the site.

Supporter Titles:
We will be offering P2P Supporter Donations. People who donate $10, $25, or $50 will have a title under their name reflecting the level of support they have offered: P2P Emerald Supporter, P2P Ruby Supporter and P2P Diamond Supporter. The money can accumulate so if someone donates $25 and then $25 at a later time their supporter level would move accordingly.
