I got a call from Noah's school today. He and some other kids were running back into the school when the bell rang after recess. He got bumped and fell onto the sidewalk, landing on his right elbow. They said he never cried, but held his arm close to his chest and wouldn't let them touch it.
So, I took him to the ped. He did an x-ray and, thankfully, its not broken. He said it is probably deeply bruised (there was no twisting or extending so shouldn't be sprained) as it was tender andhe was still guarding it. So, he is in a Snoopy sling for the weekend. What next? I am afraid to ask.

It must be spring! I hope he feels better soon.
Wed. Hector had a bad day- a friend stepped on him and accidently kicked him in his "privates." Then he got hit hit with a basketball in the face and ended up with a bloody nose. He told that much- but his shirt was clean and I figured no harm done. That night at PTA from the health clerk I found out he was full of blood and even scared the kids who were in the nurses office. The shirt he had was a loner (they wear uniforms so I couldn't tell). Julie |

He was fine this morning so we took the sling off. the ped said he could ditch it after 48 hours which would be now, so we just did it a few hours early. He says it still hurts if he bumps it or something but seems fine otherwise.
